From surprise or laughter? Haha. I had just watched the "Deload, Schmeload" video.

I'm going to change my schedule this week from MWF to TRS due to time constraints. This may become a normal thing, as those are the days I can sleep in a bit and have more energy and a little less time constraint, thus preventing the post-work training session (hopefully).

Default 3/13/2013: Start of week 3

HOLY CRAP, KIDS. What a session. Went in after work tonight. I was energized, ready to roll.

2 scoops of Juggernaut before and during work, super-diluted. We were supposed to get our delivery in, so I figured the energy was gonna be nice. Turns out there were issues. It was still nice to sip on through the evening and keep things going.

Two more scoops taken down on the drive to the gym (about 20 minutes before I started warm up sets).

Couldn't find my spreadsheet tonight, so I just kinda added weight compared to last weeks lifts.

Squats
235/5: All 8 sets. Started getting totally geeked out and pumped up about set 3. Easy money for the last five sets.

Bench
150/6: All 8 sets. Light weight. RRRRCWCW <--Grip changes

Deads
250/5: 7 sets. The 6th set was rough, I thought I had two more in me, but it just wasn't happening. I was kinda hungry, though. Hadn't eaten since about 4 this afternoon.

I think I am going to like the Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule, especially if I get in the gym first thing after I wake up. Plenty of energy as I can sleep in a little bit. Not as crunched for time.

Lifted after work. Was kinda tired. Also felt like all day. Went and did karaoke with an old friend and the cigarette smoke in the place absolutely destroyed me. Bench was good, squats felt heavy, and I was refluxing like crazy during deads. It wasn't workout pukes threatening to happen, it was like heartburn. Kinda painful, so I did the minimum sets and got the hell out.

2 scoops of Juggernaut HP on the drive in. I still love this stuff. I think the acidity of it may have triggered the reflux, though. I'm going to start making more of an effort to train in the mornings, as I feel my energy and hunger will be more in check.

Even "less than" strong work contributes to the big picture.

I will not even patronize a business where smoking is allowed. Here in Calgary, smoking is not allowed in any public place anyway, including bars. Nowadays, I just have to hold my breath whenever I approach an entrance or exit of a building cuz all the smokers are out there. However, it is also illegal to smoke within about 15 feet of an entrance, but is tough to enforce that.
