I like their packaging. I don't fall for that stuff often, but I appreciate the look.

Yeah, it's appealing. Not overdone like CellTech's labels.

Can't wait to lift later!

Default End of Week 7

Took my creatine before the WO.
Kept a good pace and broke a sweat. Still feeling out this set up but it went well.
Weather is awesome. Trained in a t-shirt in the garage.

Press/Chins went fine.
Set pins for squats one notch lower than for my "heavy" session. Trying to build strength at a deeper ROM.
RDLs were more like grip training! That's ok, gonna need it!
Started CGBP with +20 vs. last week. Too big a jump so dropped to 105.
Prison Rows were stronger and more explosive each set.

So, here's my dilemma...next week is week 8 and was going to be a deload. However, I lightened Week 6 and today's lighter WO was also a concession to my current recovery limits... I don't think I will take the deload next week since I feel good now and should be more than ready to go on Monday...

yeah, i've been in a similar situation, where the planned deload week doesn't seem to make sense any more. kind of a weird feeling. looks like you got a lot of full-body volume in today, though. that squat-RDL superset sounds killer

You're right. No need.

The volume workout is still a CNS break, so I'll see if I can wait until week 12 to deload (if needed).

Squat/RDL was my favorite combo for GVT (10x10). Been a while though!

Sounds like a good plan. If nothing else go in and have a play week.

Thanks....still deciding.

After the "volume" workout Friday, my low-back is still sore along the upper hip line. Not sure if the creatine has anything to do with this...low-back pump, etc. is often felt as low-back stiffness for me.

If not that, then the next culprit is the slightly lowered squats. They were light but I've been grooving to pin setting "11" for so long that dropping down to "10" might have irritated me. I know my back started to flex at the bottom. I do not plan to compete so maybe staying with the safe setting (which is still parallel as far as I can tell) is the way to go.

Last possibility is the one-arm DB presses. It does feel like rotation is more aggravating right now than flex/extend. Resisting rotation and stabilizing might have been enough to tighten up my QLs, erectors, etc. It's also a tendency since my spine surgery. I can work back to handling more rotation. Unilateral and rotational work is critical to me since injury and the PL stuff so far has been bilateral and mostly sagittal plane.

Just thinking out loud.

I feel like I could dead lift today, so that's the plan for now.
