Powerlifting - Preparing For Midwest Classic 2013
 
Approximately 13 weeks and few days until the March 23rd Midwest "Show Me" Classic - Multi/single ply/raw meet. I will be competing in the Raw Classic division (knee wraps allowed).

Goals are to Squat ~800lbs, Bench 500lbs, Deadlift ~700lbs.
My last meet (which was my first) I totaled 1796lbs (Squat-700lbs, Bench-468lbs, Dead-628lbs). more than enough time to reach these goals ( I left some lbs on the platform as the squat and dead went much smoother than expected after i reach my minimum # of posts ill put videos up :D)

we are currently finishing up our last Block Periodization cycle and getting ready for our 12week training cycle.

I could copy and paste my previous log from ax over here, but we'll keep this one fresh. Tomorrow morning is deads training - should be fun!

Holy krapp those are big numbers!!!! Can't wait to see what your training looks like.

Good luck and bring home some PRs. Not many get to 2000 raw. Make it happen.

Once i get my posts in ill post the videos until than you are more than welcome to take a couple glances at my youtube - NoLimitTraining is the username there itll be the one with the same picture here with AX on it also

Thats the goal, with it only being my 2nd meet I just wanna hit as close to 800 on squat and as close to 700 dead as possible. but if i dont hit minimum of 500on bench ill be upset.

500 bench is my bane. I was approaching 700 squat and 750 dead this year, but my bench was lingering below 400. I really wanted to make a run at 2000 but my bench never cooperated.
