Yes I have tried conventional. Not sure why I started with a wider stance.....other than it seemed easier to open up the hips....saw the form on You Tube watching Derek Poundstone.

That's not depth. The hip crease is well above the top of the knee.

I know I sound like an a$$hat for critiquing his form, but I don't want you to get hurt. High squats are dangerous. I just don't want to see you get hurt.

2012.12.24 - DEADLIFT

The routine got cut short. It's Christmas Eve and I had less than an hour to hit it. (I was outta town visiting family)

What got cut was:
3 sets of 10 Hyper-extensions (Back Extensions)
2 sets of 10 Dumbbell Concentration Curls

Vids to come on the deadlifts.... my form on them is WAY OFF....so hack away at it.

5th set lost grip for 3rd pull. paused then hit for 3 more reps.

I am not sure if it's from the bed I was sleeping, my poor form on deadlifts, gorilla pressing my nephew, or some other variable I'm not aware of....but my lumbar is killing me. Was having trouble sleeping the past few nights at my parents....can't find a comfortable sitting position....and standing sometimes has pain.

grrrr....

today is Bench Press...hope I can bear through the pain.
