Squats continue to suck...all I can do is keep working on them
Deads...Another muscle strain in my back...this is really getting old. Could not even get 175 off the floor with the pain. Then WO partner said he was gonna try Sumo's because his back was hurting. SOOOOOOO I tried them for the first time...no back pain at all...so I kept up doing them....did 1 at 250, no pain at all, might have to make the switch!

Worked out at the local Golds Gym in Myrtle Beach...good place to workout, at least they allow deadlifting...although I had to clear an area to do them, and when I started, everyone looked at me like I had 2 heads.....oh well, gotta love the Bro's....There were a couple of younger guys, big upper body, toothpick legs in the squat rack, 4 plates per side, going down, no lie, not even 12 inches. Should have seen their faces when I squatted below parallel. Only 185lbs, but I would bet you anything they could not have even done that weight all the way down....

2nd day with the Sumo deads...felt pretty good, even though I still have a sore back..no pain while deadlifting....Wednesday will be the test, heavy deadlift day. I plan to see how close to my best conventional lift of 302 I can get doing Sumos, if I get to 275-280, I will be very happy.

Gotta go, grandaughter is itching to go to the pool they have here.....
