Yeah if you're body is reacting favorably to the push/pull session then stick with it

Glad the deads felt good! Boo on squats How is your form holding up on those? Just curious as I start leaning forward my lower back takes quite the hit!!

Bummed to hear that injury is rearing it's ugly head on squats Moe! Maybe doing deads and squats in the same sesh is too much for it?

I have always been a fan of pulling both styles as I feel they compliment each other.

seconh half (squats) 4/10
overall 8/10....I like deads a lot more......
Great work Marvin! Really hope your back heals up soon. Take it easy for awhile bud, pushin it might end up putting you out for a long time. Better to rest up and crush it another day!

Friday 1-18-13

What a bummer tonight was. To make a long story short, my WO partner brought his bar down so we would have 1 at the bench and 1 on the squat rack. We noticed they did not feel the same weight, so we weighed them...his was 38 lbs, mine 35 lbs. Now that really sucks, for the entire month we thought mine was 45 lbs, and have been believing we were lifting 10 lbs MORE then we actually were. Needless to say, we were both pissed about it and had a sub par day.

So anyway, here is my "adjusted" correct lifting log...

Bench: 180 lbs x2x2x2x2x2x2
Mil Press: 105 lbs x3x3x3x3x3x2


Pendlay Rows: 125 lbs x8x7x6 = 21
Kirk Rows: 125 lbs X6x5x5 = 16
DB Bench: 65 lbs x9x7x6 = 22
Mil Press: 80 lbs x10x8x8 = 26, up next time

Best Meet Lifts:
Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888
