My apologies for not visiting all of your logs. I have been hiding in the corner of shame over the last two sessions, but I will get to all of your logs this week
Train smart, no shame in that

I'm not sure if your routine calls for it, but you might want to consider taking a week off or deloading completely. When my joints get achey, I know that I need to tone it back for a bit.

Rich,

Take the week off. Eat a little more. Over hydrate. Go to bed early. Aspirin.
Whirlpool. Massage. You'll come back strong next week. No doubt.

How I wish I would have followed that advice myself.

Getting some really great work on here rich

Really happy to see the squats going so well, and as for that bench......monster

Hope the rest over the weekend was good and you are back on track.

No worries at all, happens to all of us and you can't lose strength overnight. Just need to let the body recover, the muscle is going nowhere.

Rich, there is no shame in taking time off. It can be the hardest thing to do at times but it may be the smartest thing to do as well. The time off will heal your body and give you a renewed engery to hit the gym! Rome wasn't built in a day, something I have to remind myself often.
