Haven't used a belt up to this point as I didn't feel I needed one until now. Kind of like knee wraps. I figure I may try those once I get around 4pps on squats. I would feel foolish wrapping up below that haha!

The new squat rack will be utilized for curlz, shrugs, and watching big guys 1/4 squat 400+

So, I started wearing my belt all the time, and now it seems lifting beltless is all the rage.

I liked Gabe's comment once. He said belts and wraps are legal at meets, so I am using them. Now with all that said, I basically regard belts and wraps as safety equipment.

Glad you had a great squat session Rich - long may they continue.
Yeah Jim I agree with you, the equipment is for safety, and needs to be used once the situation deems it necessary. Had nothing to do with being macho or hey I'm lifting beltless so I am rawererer than you haha. I simply haven't felt the need to use it yet. I am getting into weights now that I think I will benefit from the increased core support.

Thanks and I need the roll to continue! Henry has thrown down the squat gauntlet!!

I better be careful. I might blink and miss a 400 pound bench.
