Extras

Farmers walks

Can't remember exactly but it went something like this

2 trips of the longer course with 40kg total. This was a warm up and had a couple of extra turns included.

1 trip of the longer course with 60kg total

1x40m 80kg total
1x40m 100kg total
1x40m 120kg total in 18.8 seconds (about 2 seconds quicker than last week)
1x40m 140kg

140kg was pretty comfortable. A little bit awkward coming out of the turn so I need to work on that. I'm going to add a little bit of weight each week.

Prowler

These were sprints done in a group of 4

7 trips with 40kg added - 20m low handles then 20m high handles

Amount of rest was the time it took the others to complete their sets, probably about 45 seconds.

Conditioning

Done at the rugby club, 6 of us this time.

20m sled shuttles

1x20m sled
1x20m sled + 10kg
1x20m sled + 20kg
1x20m sled + 30kg
1x20m sled + 40kg
1x20m sled + 20kg

Sprints were done back to back.

Times were

Set 1: 1 minute 16 seconds
Set 2: 1 minute 13 seconds
Set 3: 1 minute 9 seconds

Between sets I was either loading plates for the other guys or tossing a keg or flipping a tire for active recovery.

The sprints were brutal. My lungs were on fire.

Debating doubling up today so i dont have shit to do this weekend. Need to do yardwork, housework, go fishing, heal the ink im getting tonight, knock back a few, etc. etc.

and before anyone mocks me after I say this, I am giving biotests Mag-10 a try. I bought 4 tubs, basically replacing my liquor money by trying this out. Currently "pulsing" 2x PWO, once immediately afterwards, then once an hour after that, then a whole food meal. My diet has been shit due to my job, so this is an easy way to get protein/nutrients in. I also might have one in the morning depending on the day.
