Didnt log last nights session,time flies,almost december! New log is coming into fruition,and should be put into effect monday december 31st.I shall go into deep ramblings about it when the time comes,and goals for 2013.But for now,lets talk about the last couple days.


Monday Novemer 26th - ME Deadlift!

No chalk,mixed grip,no straps.Belt on the top set.

415 pounds.Why go for a measyl 5lbs on the mighty dead,lets try 10!

Failed.Three times.Boo! Didnt video because gym was ful of squabbling dickmunching cell phone abusing immigrants who have no idea what they are doing.But i cant blame then.And instead of letting it get me down,it gave me aggression.

315 x4,nice little rep work,ouch!

Sumos 225 x4,i was dead.

Forgot calves and didnt bother with ab work,just wanted to leave that environment.I gotta admit,deep down i was scared when i was setting up those last two plates for that 415.

I did see a Clint Darden video the day after (today) talking about common reasons why deadlifts fail to get off the floor (my problem yesterday),so im gonna go for it again next week!


Tuesday November 27th - ME Bench!

It would have been nice to get that deadlift and promote happiness and positivity for the rest of the week,oh well.

Bench (showing my warmup scheme for once)
Bar x9999999999999999999999999999999999999 (slight exageration)
95 x2
135 x1
185 x1
215 x2 (add belt to test,belt helps arch,yay!)
255 x1 (5lb PR!)
260 x1 (PR! Video at bottom)
245 x1
235 x2 (tweaked left wrist on 2nd rep)
225 x2

Single-arm dumbell bent over rows
120 band pushdowns while warming up
130 x12
125 x5
Right finger was acting up.

Hammer curls
80 x8
70 x8

Cable chop & lift for ab work,and rotator cuff work to finish.

255 went up easier than I expected,and 260 was the perfect weight afterwards.

Nice lifting and congrats on the PR. 260 is a good weight and on the road to 300. I hear ya about the cell phones! My gym has guys who have the phone on their ear talking while curling a dumbbell
