March 19th
Combined Squats and Deads

Im seeing how the Cube percentages do. Almost all the time you go beyond the prescribed reps. Confidence is high!

Rep Squats 2
1x6 w/ 80%
275lbsx7

Took em slow, breathed a few times between reps, ignored the numbing pain.

Speed Deads 2
2x6 w/ 65%
I percentagitized wrong and used 315lbs instead of 250.Big difference,but i still got 2x6. Could have got at least another,wish i would have.These were off the floor conventional,but im gonna work with Sumo. It feels better,so thats what i should do.

Gym was packed full,so i did one of my faves.Good ol barbell rows. A few sets with 225lbs stopping at 12 reps. And the 2 guys who smell so bad i have to hold my breath when i walk by got closer.I left.Next time i will say something to them,i cant be around them.

That is a big difference for speed deads. Glad it worked out anyway. Strong squatting reps as well.

yeah man, i agree. whichever 1 feels more comfortable/advantageous. i'd def do sumo if it felt better.

that's horrible. the worst is if you ever use a cardio machine and have to be next to a smellacious person for the whole time. i have gotten up and moved before.

Looks like you have quite an outdated max for deads.

Have to chuckle about the smelly people. I reckon I used to be one of them. A long time ago, somebody left a note in my locker requesting I take a shower and use deodorant, and wash my clothes. Ignorant SOB really. Little did that person know I do that everyday. I was just working really hard on cardio and then went to the weight room. I was doing cardio first because my priority was to lose weight at the time. To help rectify the situation, I then decided to do weights first as to hopefully not offend anyone in the weight room. Must have worked, as I received no future complaints.

With that said, there are definitely those who do not practice good hygiene, so hopefully what you say they will take the right way.
