Hello again, been a few days. Didn't set an alarm Monday.

12:05 am, Wed July 10th


Went in hyped up but not 100%. Goal was a 375lb x2 squat. Got to 335 as my last warmup, everything went to hell. Could have been a combination of not eating much during the day or not thinking about form. Abs felt bad, folded forward, barely got it up.

Did a lot of light ham and quad work, then got back under the bar and worked some form.

Times like this piss me off so much, makes me want to quit squatting.

I'm gonna start recording warm up sets, and go real light for a few weeks if I can help it.

If only I had a dollar for each time I wanted to quit squatting during or right after a session I'd be rich. There is just something about them tho that keeps me coming back for more punishment.

That's just a bad day and a psych out. You'll be ready by next squat session.
Consistent warm up/work up routine is important. Better tracking = better results and analysis.
