I ran 5/3/1, 2 days a week w/ great success. I think you wouldn't have any issues with your programming. I did OVH Press/Deadlift one day and Squat/Bench the next. Just another possibility. You'll get it all figured out.

Yeah, if you can do two non consecutive days, Squat and bench, dead and OHP is awesome. However, you said you have two consectutive days off? Hmmmm.....

If I was only able to work two days in a row in a week, Saturday and Sunday for example, I'd Squat (ME) and deadlift one day, then work bench and OHP the next day with some upper back. The next week I'd Deadlift (ME) and squat, then OHP and bench with some rows the next day.

However, you're 18 or so. You can rock this if you want. You got all the hormones raging that us geezers can only dream about. Just push it whenever you can and eat when you can't.

Food and effort beats any idiot program ever invented by anyone.

Wed June 26th - session 1

Bench 215lbs x21

Rep goal system, total goal was 20. I should have got 22 but didn't feel right about one rep.


I did some pec dec, but that didn't agree with elbows and shoulders.
Pulldowns, arms, lateral raises, rotator work.



Wed June 26th - session 2

11:08 pm

Worked up to a 355lb pull for 1. Wanted 8, but felt like shit.


On deadlift days I'm wanting to do box squats, back, hams and traps, but I just left. These kind of days piss me off so much.

Great workouts Ben! Was that 21 in one set or a few? If it was one, you're way stronger than you're letting on! Don't sweat the deads ! I know it can be frustrating, but for whatever reason with those you can have days when you're just like WTF was that???! Shrug it off, move onto the next day! Keep working hard!!!
