Thanks Jim. I can ignore my own problems usually, but when it's your kids, that is tough. He'll be fine though which is the main thing. I'll just have to suck it up, be like Swede and catch up on my sleep when I'm dead!

Finally got a chance to check out the videos and this one was telling. I forgot about it until I watched it just now.

This was like the second or third set. I definitly have an imbalance in my legs as my left is way stronger and more stable than my right. Now my right ankle is the one that was shattered when I was younger, and has the osteo-arthritis in it now. But that really just affects bending it as it only has about 30% motion.

However, I'm thinking I need to do more stuff with that leg to get it stronger and more stable.

Oh, and Rehbrands are AWESOME. I don't think they really add much if anything to your squats, but they keep your knees nice and stable, just take them right out of your mind when you are squatting. Nice.

On the Bulgarian squats, your forward leg needs to be farther forward so that when you squat down, the shin is almost vertical.

I also did my Bulgarian's in my power rack. This allowed me to get my balance first as doing so allowed me to grasp the rails first to balance and then I let go and boom - I was able to get them done much better.

Great advice. I am a fan of doing them in the rack as well. Mostly because im fat with all kinds of balance problems haha. As far as the deadlift, if your going to re do it, I think you have the right idea. Follow the work sets, hit an easy single, and move on. Hope your son is feeling better Mike
