Keep up the hard work Mike.

You should try a website such as myfitnesspal (this is UK, there may be a US equivalent) that helps you track your calorie consumption and macros. It can be a pain in the butt and isn't completely accurate but such sites tend to give good ballpark figures which you can review and adjust over the coming weeks. Taking this action helped me quit a bit and now I don't especially need it anymore as I tend to eat more or less the same things most days in similar quantities so it is in my head but I will use it again if need be.

If you want to track weight, pick 2 days each week that arw 3-4 days apart and weigh yourself in the morning after waking up. While there will always be some form of fluctuation, I found by keeping a log that a trend was noticeable and luckily, it was a downward one!

Christmas is coming so stay away from the mince pies Turkey on the other hand is welcome

Thanks Kuyt. Actually I started with fitday.com not too long ago which made me realize I was under-estimating stuff. Also, MY 2 tablespoons of PB probably bears no resemblance to an actual 2 tblsp!

Finally a JB squat day that didn't kick my ass! Woo Hoo!

JBPP week 3

warmups: Jump Rope and a lot of leg and hip stuff to get really loose

Squat:
6x 225
3x 6x 260 (belt on last set, and shouldn't have used it!)

Narrow Pause squats:
4x 5x 185

Deficit Stiff Deadlift, for the stretch:
4x 8x 155 (pretty easy until last set, which was a little hard as I was tired)

Leg and back stretching and that's it. Legs were so thick afterward, I could have sparked a fire with my thighs! Barely room to get my pants after a shower. HaHa!

My one wrist is a little jacked up from benching without my wraps, so I went low bar squats with my hands wider and thumbs on top of the bar. I gotta say that makes staying upright a hell of a lot easier, but it jacks up your shoulders some. I'm going to keep working with it though as I think that will help me going forward.

Stupid me went with a belt on the last set and didn't settle it on right, so it pinched my ribs. I still got the set done, but I need to be smarter about that! All I could think about was JT and his rib troubles from his belt. I'm fine, but it could have been trouble. So, just be smarter going forward.

Oh and JB, I went with 260 instead of 265 because I forgot about adding weight after first set. Still, was a nice confidence booster as I didn't feel hammered afterward.

Anyway, there you go. Good stuff today.

First set 6x 260:
Last set 6x 260:
Pause Squat 5x 185, first set:
Deficit Stiff DL, 8x 155, first set and actually 10 reps as I was listening to song! lol:
