Ah, today was much better. I did miss a rep and scramble a little here and there, but felt good all the way through. Win. I need to work on better consistency with my recovery time. 9 hours sleep, drink plenty of water and do my stretches and foam rolling religiously. Also I need to work the plan, not keep trying to push too hard. I'm discovering the accumulation through the week is pretty tough, so I shouldn't be starting the week like a ball of fire and finishing like a bucket of piss.

I also started this week at 205 pounds!! So the food bonanza needs to get back under control! I'm pretty sure it's mainly due to too much fat each day as I think I underestimate and endulge there too much. So I'll ease back on that by keeping the protein cleaner and keep the carbs extremely clean too.

Anyway, enough on that stuff.

JBPP week 3:

warmups: making a three board and some rowing and pulldowns.

Bench:
6x 205
3x 6x 220 (was tough though)

CG 3Brd:
8x 185
3x 8x 205 (2nd set only 7, these were hard as a motherF)

SKull and CG Combo Alt 5 skulls w/ 5 CG for two rounds:
4x 20x 50+EZ bar (skulls were wicked hard, CG easy)
ss w/ BB Curls: 4x 12x 65

Lat Pulldowns, pause at chest: 4x 12x 140 (just volume, not particularly hard)

Last set of 6x 220:
CG 3 Brd First set:
CG 3 Brd last set:
Skull/CG Combo, first set:
Skull/CG Combo, Last set:

The skulls were the hard part. The CG really was just some time for me to rest up for the next set of skulls!

And the board presses were weird in that the weight was manageable and reps started well, but as I went along, my arms would just stop listening to me. It's like I was telling them to push, but they were numb and barely pushing anymore.

So there you go. Good day. Triceps demolished again.

Must be you because I didn't even realize that was progress! I was thinking I should have been able to handle more weight as all those boards make the lift easier, don't they? Maybe I'm better off not knowing when something is supposed to be hard or not.

Thanks Jim. HAHa. Those skulls were merciless! And you had an easy time with those CG! I almost hit failure! I'm barely a smidge ahead of you at the moment on bench, probably only because of that arch, besides your squat and deadlift are miles ahead of me.

Thanks, LtL. Nothing impresses my daughter, she's tough. And to be fair, that's only 2 pps in the rest of the world! Here's it's like 5 pps including the tiny ones. Loading the big wheels is when it gets serious!

Squats this afternoon. I feel good. 3 sets with 265 (120 for you metriphiles).

The boards do make it easier, but not when you are doing CGB and after your ME bench!
