Thoughts:

Just a nice easy day. Weighed in at 181.5lbs... So I'm sitting just fine. Wanted to work up to my opener, but with the RAM on. Cube called for Floor Presses, but I can use a BB at this gym for Floor Presses. Just no way to it. Doing DB's from the floor always puts my shoulders in an odd position. So I just did normal bench with a Pause. Had my Wife tell me press after a good solid 1-2 sec pause.


Just found out we will have a Monolift at the meet.. So I'm, Stoked. Never used a Monolift before.. I think it will be perfect for me to set a new PR for my Squats. If I can hit a good PR on Squat.. All I'm looking to get out of this meet is Two things. Up my total and Get at least 465 in the Deadlift.. But a bonus would be a 1185 total. So something along these lines would be a huge thing for me.. 410/290/485 = 1185 This would give me the APA Sub-Master 181wt State Record in the Deadlift and overall Total.

2 Days till go time.

Just finished up my last workout. Warmed up and Worked up to my Opener as of right now. 350lbs... Went up Super Easy.. So I'm going to do 365/385/390 maybe 400.. Depending on how 390 goes...

Meet a young powerlifter from Mississippi. That just Happen to be in town. 19yr old SPF and USPA already under his belt. Really nice kid. 181 and he worked up to a pretty easy 405..

Just got back from weighing in and dinner...

Weight 178 with Shorts and Shirt on... Good enough...

Drove down the road and just killed a Golden Corral. MMMmmmm Ribs, Steak, Pizza, Rolls, Corn nuggets, macaroni and cheese and Apple Cobbler... Called it quits...

Well it was an off day. I hit all the same weights has last time. So my total at least my total didn't go down. I hit all my 1st and 2nd attempts and missed all my 3rd attempts. I hit 375/275/465. My 3rds were 400/285/475. I wish I would have done for my 3rds 385/280/470. For some reason my deadlift form was crap. Too much back. On my Squats 3rd attempt. I tried 400 and had another guy wrap me and by the time i got to the platform. I was running out of time. So I was rushed. Just not a good combo. Didn't like my wrap, rushed and made to big if a jump. Overall I'm pissed and at least happy I did get the State Record for the Deadlift in the 181 Sub-Master by 5lbs. Next meet is in Oct I think. So ill have a Slightly different game plan. Same Openers. But Ill do what I should have done listed above.
