Pendlay Rows
As I was walking over to set up for Pendlay rows, some IDIOT picked up one side of a barbell to unrack it and the plates from the other side slid off and BROKE TWO of my FIN toes!!!

I am fuming right now to say the least. I went to urgent care and got it x-rayed (my right big toe is fractured in 4 locations and the toe to the right is broken in two more spots)

Im now in a wooden boot and crutches its probably going to be a while before I lift, let alone lift with lower body exercises.

Thanks Al - I'll probably "stay" out of the gym for a week or so (at least until I can walk with the boot without using crutches).

Maybe this will gimme a chance to increase my bench press (with no leg drive) lol.

To be honest, it was basically negligence on his part - I talked with a few folks and obviously the gym isn't liable and I got mixed answers as to whether the kid lifting was liable.

haha, thanks for the well-wishes Steve. I was in sucha daze that I didn't even think to retaliate lol.

As soon as I can walk without crutches, I will definitely be smashing the upper body and benching, bodybuilder style (ie no leg drive)

Thanks Steve- I redressed the wound last night - it's still bleeding and there looks like a little puss, but it doesn't really hurt. Of course, the pain meds are helping lol. I've found a way to scuffle short distances without crutches, but not super comfortably.

Luckily, I'm essentially forced to keep my leg raised and study for my exam tomorrow
