Then be patient, my friend. The results are in the next post.

The answer to the golden question is, "Yes indeed, I would do it again." I learned so much about my limits (I was selling myself short all along), my form came to me, and I developed a style or "feel" for the lift. Yes, I'd do it again. A squat or deadlift cycle would most likely kill me, but another BP cycle to bust a plateau would be a possibility. I wonder what a full blown 13 weeker would be like.

Results

Using the Smolov Jr. protocol, I was able to increase my bench press 1 RM by 15 pounds. This increase is right in line with other results posted on the internet. The experiment and results have been replicated, therefore the Smolov Jr. myth is CONFIRMED.

Awesome Val. I was actually thinking you may have busted through more than 1 PR. Funny thing about hitting big(ger) weights is that it's "easier" to hit even bigger weights going forward.

I was stuck at 225 for quite a while, now it's old news. 200 is old news for you. If you can do it once, you can do it for a double. If you can do it for a double, then a triple is no sweat.

Just saying, accumulation of reps at any given weight pushes your strength almost exponentially.

Awesome to see you break through. Now, if only you would help me break through with my pitiful deadlift!
