Take all them bench PRs you can. That's such a tough lift for so many lifters. Great to see you creeping towards 300.

I'm pretty happy about em that's for sure! I checked yesterday on a calculator that is usually pretty accurate for me and it put me at a 292 bench max. I don't necessarily believe that I have that yet, but I'm making huge gains in that department. The results I'm yielding from the weighted dips and bench together will definitely keep me open minded as far as routine and training frequency go in the future if a lift stops progressing along with the others.

Getting tight without a liftoff sure is tough. Even with a spotter, I find I have to reset tightness every 2-3 reps.

Any update with the injury/when you might be able to squat and/or deadlift?

I don't know if it shows in the vid, but I'm actually starting to get pretty good at staying tight while lifting it off myself. I push on the bar to keep my traps and rear delts locked in place on the bench. I think if i had under armor or something on you could see a significant arch in my back. As far as the injury goes it feels a lot better but I still feel like there is some recovery that needs to happen. I will most likely wait until january to start working deads and squats back in. I want to give it all the time it needs to be back at 100%, believe me nobody wants me to start squatting as much as I do. I almost put my squat stuff in my gym bag today honestly, but figured it wasn't a good idea, and opted out.

Never gone too heavy on the leg press before, although I'm not sure 7pps is that heavy, I've seen guys move a lot more than that. Either way it was a PR and a good benchmark for progress on the leg press, which is still pretty new in my routine.

Thanks man, I'm pleased I can still get in the leg work too, hopefully it will at least maintain my squats for now until i can get back in the rack. I just focus hard on staying super still on that leg press and not letting my back move at all once the load is off the safeties.
