Yep, power shrugs should do the trick to overload the traps! I cannot do them as it irritates my lower back too much. You have a strength coach?

Yeah, he is just my friend and fellow Purus rep, but he just won in deadlift for his class, and has his actual PL coach helping with the routine and watching our vids too. Plus I have you, Steve, Jbyrd, more knowledge at my fingertips than a lot of my competition.

I think if I do well at the meet, that I can find a crew down here to train for Worlds. I know all the big powerlifters in my area will be there. Guys I have been hearing about for a decade.

Indeed - definitely be socialable and you will likely meet someone, who maybe will know someone else, etc. I met Brian, our Crew leader, and his wife at the weigh-in of my 1st meet. His wife just happened to be Italian, as is mine and my family, so we all hit it off right off the bat. My family are such big social butterflies haha. I actually couldn't believe I accomplished my #1 goal of meeting a crew even before the weigh in! I still don't believe it!

Training with stronger and more knowledgeable lifters has certainly been a huge factor in my progression.

Weighed in at 183.8 today then did 15 minutes on the step mill and burned 175 cal according to the machine. Also switched to 2% cottage cheese, which takes away 10g of fat per day. This puts my macros at 2550 Cal 68F/214C/268P , I eat exactly the same thing every day so my numbers stay very consistent. I'll probably switch from whole milk to 2% in a week and a half, which will drop another 8g fat a day.
