Ok Steve thanks! I actually upped the calories and stopped cutting, gonna try cutting a small amount of fat during deloads and then back to bulking for the work portion of the cycle.

Good pressing bruh, I agree that overhead pressing trends to wear out my shoulders as well. I guys that's why I only rotate it in every so often, but that's is also due to bursitis...lol

I second this.

If you are doing anything other than the core lifts for the prescribed weight % during the deload you aren't doing the program as written. I know, guys can do what they want to do, technically, but if you are doing 5/3/1 as written you will not be doing any assistance work during the deload week.

Not trying to lecture anyone or tell anyone they are doing anything wrong, but I personally am a believer in doing programs as they are written for at least 3 or 4 months before deciding to tweek it.

For sure, I have been doing 3 sets of 10 instead of 5 sets in the past deloads. That is just what the spreadsheet I have lines out, but I have no problem skipping them.
