I agree, short bouts, shorter than 4 days haha. I think 2 days would be enough for me, that place just wears you down and enjoys every minute of it.

Yes I am, that's the meet! It will be interesting to see how I perform at a lighter weight. But the journey has definitely been enjoyable.

I heard that Steve Maxson puts on some good meets as well, so that's always a plus too.

Back to feeling good again, went to the urgent care on Saturday and got a steroid shot and some amoxicillin so I am definitely getting better now.

Thanks Steve, today I actually feel like I am back to normal. We will see how this week goes.

This morning I was at 188.4, If I can get down to under 187 by next Monday I will start to increase calories to maintain at that weight until the week before the meet. Once I am there I also plan on taking some photos to see the differences from when I was at 204. I'll make sure to post them up for anyone interested.

Thanks Mike! If I can keep my bench where it was when I competed at 198 I will be satisfied for this meet and then can focus on improving it before my next one.

I am hoping to improve on my squat and dead and if that happens I will hit my goal that I am shooting for.
