Thanks Steve!

Mike, I noticed some size increase during the hypertrophy stuff. I think if I would have done it for longer than 5 weeks (maybe ran it through again) it would be have been more beneficial. It just worked out that way with my meet but after this next one I will run it for longer.

I think I will up my calorie intake during the next hypertophy phase as well to supplement it a bit more to see if that helps too.

2.8

I attended and finished my first GoRuck event. For those not familiar with this company, they do challenges across the US ranging in time frame. I completed the Challenge on Friday evening, 12 hours of hell which included a lot of PT and carrying heavy objects (can you say a 22 ft long 1500 lb tree) over the duration, all while carrying a 50 # ruck. In all we went 15 miles, it was a grueling but rewarding experience.

2.10

morning BW 198.6 (down 3.4 lbs)

Nice work!

I see that Pittsburgh link in your post... Live there or just a event?

Ryan Celli and his gym got me into powerlifting.

I actually grew up in the area. I spent all of my schooling there including college and moved to NC for work about 3 years ago. My family is still there and I visit whenever I get the chance.

Are you in the area?

Thanks Steve, I think working the inclines heavy one day and my bench heavy another day will help my bench overall, so we will see.

2.19

Squat
warmups
405 x 1
465 x 1 (wraps)
495 x 1 (wraps)
350 x 3,3,3
300 x 5,5,5

Front Squat
265 x 5,5,5,5,5

Hamstring work

*Put the wraps on tonight to start getting used to having them on again since I haven't used them since my meet in September. Not pushing it to the max but just getting the general feeling back.
