Gonna be changing up my training. Unfortunately due to buying a house (my first one) I underestimated the amount it costs to furnish and care for it. Due to that fact, I had to stop my training with MikeD, so I am in the process of revisiting my programming.

Hopefully will have something by next week and will stay on track!

Here is going to be my first cycle of my new training: sets and reps for the first two lifts will be determined by percentages and the rest of the auxiliary work will straight weight and sets.

Day 1 - Deadlift
Deadlift
Front Squat
GHR
Low Cable Row (optional, dependent on body)
Abs

Day 2 - Bench
Bench Press
CG Floor Press
Seated OH Press
Rows (DB/BB)
Pullaparts/Facepulls

Day 3 - Squat
Squat
Good Mornings
Lunges
Chins
Abs

I will be running a 6 week progression, reevaluate at the end of that and adjust numbers and auxiliary work as needed.

Thanks Cutty, we will see how it plays out.

I decided to use this week to get my new 1RM's and get some work in, then taking next week off due to the move into the house and giving my body a break before I start this new program. I have been hitting it hard for the past 8 weeks so a rest will be timed perfectly.

I can't express how much respect I have for MikeD and his training, he has done an amazing job with me and I have huge respect for him and his methods. Went in tonight with the idea to max on squat and deadlift, however my shin splints were terrible so squatting will be delayed until Saturday or next Tuesday.

I missed 600 at my shins, mostly due to my grip failing. Direct grip work will be added back in now in the new programming. Once that is strengthened then I should be able to finally hit the elusive 600.

580 is a gym PR, my previous gym PR was 565 so I am very happy about where I am at right now.

Closed on my house yesterday, after all of that I went in to get a working in. I was planning on hitting above 90% on my squat and then if I was feeling good I would go for a PR or something. Needless to say the house buying process, along with work and other stresses and training for longer than I am used to didn't let me do that.

Got up to about 95% of my 1RM and that was it, back was feeling it. Getting adjusted tomorrow and then off until next Tuesday when I will start back at it.
