lol thanks ndrwdslv, never squatted at the end of a session before it was hard but I will stick with it for a bit and if it doesn't work out I will put them to the start of the session.

30 rep goal is impressive with squats!

That's interesting with old school guys doing squats last. I prefer to do them first. Kind of warms me up and gets me going. I don't think it affects my presses at all, and as for deadlifts, well they're so weak nothing really affects them either!

Nice start! Get some sleep! I used to nap whenever the kids napped whenever possible. That helped keep me fresher after the 2-3 times a night wake ups.

Cheers

Great start, Lee. Rest up as best you can (I know, might be a bit easier said than done ) and smash the next one too.

Also keen to hear how the "squats at the end" thing ends up treating you. The logic's there right enough.

I briefly gave 30 rep goals (for the main lifts) a go, and yeah, it's hard at first. But you'll adapt, as with anything.

thanks chaps,

I agree 100% with you mike with squatting and deadlifting first. I need to read in to it more, squatting last is defiantly a experiment.

That's pretty interesting on what your saying about squatting at the end of a workout. On my squat days, I'm generally toast on all the other lifts after that. I really just go in to squat and do hams afterwards. What you are saying/doing makes a lot of sense.

Good session, Lee.

thanks syn but I have re-setted my weights so it is not a true reading of where I am on bench and squat it will change in a few weeks.

thanks jio, yeah I have been thinking the same for a while then I started to read about the old time pre - steroid era of bodybuilding and a lot of those guys squatted and deadlifted last because of that reason, I noticed in there workouts they squatted and deadlifted last, it is worth a try what worst could happen.
