squats felt strong and form felt really good, a bit peed I didn't push for 8 reps on the last set.

bb shrugs, well I never do them so i didn't not know what weight to start of with so I just took a bit of weight off the row and shrugged it.

I good start to the new routine I think, I also ate big before this session which helped on the squats.

a small bump on a long road mate....

lack of sleep really hampered my lifting for a while..... the good news is you get used it!
or maybe your coffee intake goes up!!
either way , gains can be made on bad sleep!

Your right its diet and sleep related. I know life gets crazy when you have a new addition. It'll come back as soon as you replenish.

Haha. I have two young ones myself. Sleep is a thing of the the past. You get used to it though. Don't think it will ever pass though. My kids are in elementary and still wake us up from time to time. Even when they are in middle and high, I still expect them to cause some sleeplessness, but for a different reason.

thanks mike will do.

The plan is to get the diet back on track and my body adjusting to the different sleep patterns then hitting the iron again on Monday.
