thanks chaps, lowerd my food intake a couple days a go and the result was a loss in a bit of strength and energy so upped my food back to what I have been eating, and Monday I am going to try something a little different going to do a push/pull workout with no leg day, squats being on push day, I will be do all my normal exercises but split in to push and pull days, I am not switching because I had a off day I just like to mix things up to keep me fresh, my progression will still be the same.

push day

squats
benchpress
ohp
dips

pull day

deadlifts
rows
chins
curls
3 times a week alternating.
what do you guys think ? this is not my idea, I seen it in a article about old school lifters and it just caught my eye it really appeals to me.

I guess I'll just ask, why change??? While I know doing the same thing can grow a little boring, your progress has been excellent! If anything I'd rather see you just add some fun things to your current routine to keep it interesting or more fun. While this routine might work as well or possibly better, you're making solid gains with what you're doing! Just my opinion

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

Rearranging is okay as long as it doesn't add frequency to the lifts and it doesn't add to the total workload. Most rearranging should be in the form of reducing stress to increase recuperation. If you're not sure, then I probably wouldn't do it until you re-set weights.

When gains stop then change. You'll always regret stopping something that works for you.
