I think 5 pound jumps are too much. Or it might be confidence. She can rep 45 all day but 55 she can't get off her chest.

5 lbs jumps for a female are quite a lot at times, they don't seem a lot but they can be; sometimes I put just over 2 lbs extra on the barbell and it's like sticky glue, no way will it budge.

The "misses" are good, though they won't necessarily seem that way to some, it will make her a well-rounded athlete that can take a "miss" call without turning to mush as some do.

My son does that too. 5 lbs can make a huge difference when it's a larger percentage of their max.

Sub-par night last night. Her head wasn't in it. She has a new boyfriend and all she wanted to do was talk to him.

I tried to explain to her that she has to stay focused or else she's going to get hurt. Hopefully she was listening.
