Almost there. In about a week.

Chillen, I like what you said about accumulating recovery days. I've learned that I can push myself like this for about 3 or 4 months, then I've got to pause for a moment. I'm approaching one of those moments.

Friday, 9/7/12

Allergies! UGGGGGGGGGH!

Felt like doo-doo on Friday. It was all I could do to slog through work. I didn't feel like lifting at all, but I felt I needed to. The end of this cycle is in sight. So close to a break.

105x7 - Got some tips from my man, Rakim, after this set. Rakim is a senior at Minnesota State University majoring in Exercise Science (my intended major). He also works the desk in the Fitness Center. "Rock" (as he likes to be called) watched my last set and pointed out a gross inefficiency. He encouraged me to narrow my grip almost a handwidth on each side. I wish he'd been around a couple of sets sooner.

I was beat. My allergy medicine was wearing off. The kids were home alone. Squat PR attempt on Sunday. Better conserve energy.

Thank you, BtB. Going for six wheels. No belt. I've got me a case of the butterflies right now though. Trying to come up with every reason not to lift. I'll let y'all know how it comes out. I'm going to cut back a bit on my warmup sets. That should help me out in the end.
