Workout Grade: A

A decent day today. I didn't know what to expect following my raw close grip session only 6 days ago. It's been 5 months since I benched raw, and that meet took a month to recover from.

I felt great today. Eccentrics were impressively strong and form felt spot on. No strains or pains whatsoever. I was going to do some rep work, but by the time I hit a paused 355 I was could smell blood in the water.

425 was a paused bench PR. Lockout was tough. Might have had 430 in the tank but certainly not 435.

Really focusing on bending the bar and tucking the elbows. Also been using a feet forward setup and it's working great. No more shaking legs.
