Yeah screw the deload it's just an off day! Next time you'll PR like cake. As a side note watching WSM competitions is a good way to shame you. In particular watching the 700-lb deadlift for reps event makes me feel like a little girl lol.

Exactly! Just when you think you are strong and have reached a nice level, you watch those guys and feel weak.

The true challenge is looking in the mirror and asking myself, do I believe I can get as strong as them? What else can we do but try.

Huge raw close grip PR. Haven't done them raw in over a year though. Think when I did them last it was 275 x 5 or something like that. It would have been a shocker if I hadn't hit a monster PR.

Yes, I trained raw. Wicked forearm pump from benching. Sheesh.
