BTB - Goal 2000 Raw by Age 50
There have been 77 powerlifters in the history of the sport that have reached a 2000 raw total. My goal is to join that group. I needed a new log to focus on this goal.
I realized over the last month that my weight loss is going to be slow. I'm still losing, and still trying to lose, but at the end of the day a 2000 pound total means more to me than anything right now.
Currently my lower back is a bit tender, so I am experimenting with some minor deadlift periodization.
Max daily single has been working well. Any time I try to add a second single, or a drop double I end up tweaking my hammie. So my goal is a heavy single at least once every 3-4 days, if not every other day.
2 days a week. One day working to a heavy daily max, the second more rep work.
