That's what I figured. About a 40 pound bump per lift. Thanks for posting. I thought he was pretty close.

The idea of being an Elite lifter is awesome, however in my current state, I would consider it pretty bad ass to be able to stand up straight, lol. I do think I have the body type where getting some big numbers are doable (700DL, Mid 400's bench, mid 600's Squat), for sure, but I need to work on my weaknesses just like everybody else...Glutes, triceps, abs..My legs and shoulders are a lot stronger than my "core" muscles.

P.S - I appreciate the positivity from everyone, thanks.

Bench Press: 3x10x285

That's it, my workouts are all over this week mainly due to being bored so I go to the gym to make up for it.

Went to a friend's house today to do some traction band set up thing and light squatting.

Buffalo Bar Squat: Worked up to 505x1, the weight was easy despite getting a little stuck on the bottom - I gotta wake my ass up, literally. Seeing as I explode at the top of lift and the bar practically always gets some air time yet I tend to bog on the bottom, it tells me my quads are strong as they need to be but I have a weak ass - need to stop having a weak ass.

Pause Squats: 3x5x325...easy

Speed Deads: 5x1x225+Doubled monster mini's

So, yeah, I didn't plan on squatting anything significant really and def not deadlifting, so I am whole heartedly expecting to be in a world of ouchies tomorrow.

I am have lost some more fat (8lbs) and 2lbs of muscle as dictated by tanita hand held - while this is good progress - I dont know if it validates living solely on a 65/35 fat/protein diet.

Is that from the start of a cut, or just the last 2 weeks?

Solid squat session. Looks painful.

That was from the start of the cut starting at the end of May, so it's going a bit slow, but I am losing it at the waist and that's what counts.

So I am starting a new strength cycle today. It's going to be like my last one with 2 big days but this time I will be adding 3 small days. This is a theory Paul Carter came up with - the Big/Small workout thing, I will also be using his Strong-15 program. The small workouts aren't necessarily there to get me "bigger", my reasoning for them is to hit my weak points (glutes and upper back) and to help me burn more calories while I am losing fat because I hate, freaking HATE doing cardio...and I have asthma. I'd rather be a not-so fat 275, than a watery/mushy 300+. So the small workouts are small, I mean like 20 minutes in length small. Anyway, on with the show.

My starting Bench max for this cycle will be 350lbs since you are supposed to use a weight you feel as though you could hit anytime with a proper warm up.

Bench: 185x5, 205x4, 235x3, 275x2, 285x1, 305x1, 325x1 (paused), 255x19 (would have been 20 but the nervous kid spotting me bro benched me)

Military Press: 135x12, 155x12, 155x10

Lying Tri-Ext: 2x15x95 +10 mini benches

Triceps were FUBAR. Workout was on 0 carbs and I had an insane pump at the end. This is a great program and I encourage anyone looking for something new to check out his stuff.
