Sure is.

After a certain point some things are just jaw-droppingly strong. If you're the kind of guy who's just bull strong at reps you'll probably also transfer well to reps.

Strong is as strong does.

Good luck, when's the next workout?

Thanks guys, got it done...

Squats (high bar/deep Oly style/3 breaths between ech rep) = 165 lb x 20 reps (easy)
Deadlifts = worked up to 450 lb x 3 reps
Prowler = 125 lb x 40 yards on low handles x 4 trips

Trying to keep my food down right now. I'll get my gut work in later this evening.

Thanks guys. I figure since the squats are pretty light right now that I'd periodically pull some heavy-ish deads to keep my strength up.

Took the boys flyfishing today, so this was a late workout...

Weighted Sit-ups x 12
Squats = 185 lbs x 20
Shrugs = 225 lbs x 12, 12, 12

The squats were easy except for the breathing. I pulled my sweats up so they wouldn't drag on the ground, then cinched my belt up too tight around the top of them, and so I couldn't draw in enough breath between reps. It sucked! But suffered through them.

Squats are creeping up quickly. What weight are you going to use next time?
