Jerod's experiment with Labrada Humanogrowth

Ok guys and gals (I guess in this case, guys more than gals)..
My Humanogrowth just arrived this afternoon. I'm about to take my first dose now. The packaging suggests that I won't see full effect for 3 weeks, and I have a 4 week supply. I'm going to try to maintain as few expectations as possible in the spirit of fairness.

Today is Wednesday, July 13th 2011. I had a great deadlift workout today, and I fully expect some DOMS as a reward on friday. I'm headed to bed with a belly full of almonds, water, and test-booster pills. :eatdude:

Initial impressions are pretty standard. The pills are nowhere near the largest I've had to take, but you have to take 4. There was no "supplement burps", not sure if that's because I went to bed after ingesting. The gel coating kinda sticks in the throat, by #4 there was a little roadblock in my esophagus. Outside of the process of taking the pills, no noticeable difference on waking. Guess it won't turn you into a superhuman beast overnight, but then again that was never advertised.

More to come

Will be following this.

I was out of town for a few days, but I continued to take Humanogrowth at bedtime every night.

Day 6 Impressions:

Not sure if it's the pills, or psycho-somatic, but when I'm sleeping I am DEAD. As in, don't bother attempting to wake me, you'll just get frustrated.

Also, maybe related, maybe not.. Freakish vascularity on the feet and hands friday. It's subsided some, and was more obvious on the feet and ankle area. Kinda surprised me when I took off my shoes..

Aside from those two things, all is "normal". Tomorrow is ME bench day. Crossing my fingers that I've experienced some freakish mutation in the first week on this supp, and my bench will have shot through the roof.

I swear, that statement was meant as a joke. There was no significant numbers increase, but the visual change is DRAMATIC. The reaction my body had to today's workout had me grinning for a while. Is this what everyone else gets normally? Was I just testosterone deficient before? My skin flushed, veins stood out, and I experienced a significant swell most prominent in the traps.

In addition, today's workout just felt great. I ended each set with the feeling that I could have squeezed out one more rep. Every rep was controlled and solid. I didn't feel the need for excess time between sets. My last few flat bench sets were basically back to back, with only time for adding weight.

Some pics, First is from last week. Similar routine, prior to starting Humanogrowth. Second is today's pic.

No recent posts, and not without reason. I don't want to condemn this supp yet, but I think some of the initial effects may have been placebo in nature. I wanted this to be a magic pill (or 4/night), so it was. I'll stick it out as directed, but at approx 2 weeks I'm going to advise that, at least alone, this supplement is not meeting my expectations based on reviews.

In that respect, post #5 in this thread I will have to currently chalk up to a great workout day. I will amend this statement if results begin to exceed my normal linear progression.

1 month finished. I realize this log is patchier than a mangy dog, but at the end of the day, this supp did nothing. I am wiser for having bought it, I will know better in the future.

Sorry to hear that. Nothing worse than wasting cash.
