Default First Day at New Gym!!

Man's World Gym is awesome, Joe Dodd is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Everyone in there was incredibly nice and helpful. Today was kind of a feeling out day, but I like the new gym. It is a hole in the wall, but people train hard there and it was hot as balls.

290xmiss, shoulders were feeling a bit tired today
225x5 would have gotten more reps but on the 2nd rep I slammed my chin and it hurt a lot.

Row Machine

Pullups

I attached a chain to my belt but I have no idea how much it weighed
Chain x 7

This was pretty cool, I just hooked the heavy chains to my belt and went after it.

I think I will be using chains a lot at this gym. Great place to train, so far so good.

The MM was great, I feel like I got a much better pump in the heat.

Energy/Focus:9 good clean energy throughout the workout.
Pump: 8 good pump in my back and arms from pullups
Recovery:6 I am feeling a bit of a crash today, but I think I just need to get used to training in this environment.

Afternoon workout/cardio

Ran 1.5 miles in 95 degree heat wow. I timed this and came in right around 12 minutes, I was pissed because I thought I needed to finish in 11:51 but in actuality I need to finish in 12:51, so I finished with plenty of time in the peak heat of the day after my lift session.

Sledgehammer Work
4 sets of 10 alternating right and left side
1 minute max situps 48 Only need 38 for my test!
2 more sets of sledgehammer
