370xMiss, I am stuck here, plateauing like crazy, no fun at all!

My body has taken a beating this week from switching routines, so hopefully next week goes better. I would really like to hit 370 soon, but we talked about maybe trying some shirted benching next week. I have never done this and I am interested to see what happens. Off the chest is my weak point, so maybe this would help. I am also thinking of adding floor presses into my monday routine.

The MM was great I was very jacked up, it just so happened that after we benched we started to BS and drink beer, I can not complain. I only have probably one more day left of the MM, but it has been great to me. So, I can not complain.

Energy/Focus 9 very jacked up to bench, but then failed
Pump 6 not much the MM could do since I did not do much today
Recovery 9 no crash, just too many 12oz curls, lol

Saturday Speed Squats
Today was supposed to be speed squats but that did not really happen. My legs were still sore as hell today but I pushed through and got some work done

Box Squats w/ 2 sets of chain each side
135x5
225x2x 2 reps
275x2 x 2 reps
315 x 1 rep
335x1 rep PR
345x Miss
Legs were feeling worn down at this point

Suspended Good Mornings w/ 1 chain each side
135x3
155x3
185x2 PR
185x1
135x5

Pullups
BW x 10
BW plus chain x 8
BW plus 2 chain x 5 PR
Drop Set to finish up
2 chain x 3
1 chain x 3
BW x 5
And then I felt like I was going to die

The gym was incredibly hot today, I was soaked with sweat. Still got a good lift in and hit some PRs, so I am satisfied.

Today was my last day of MM, and it really got me motivated today. I did not feel like lifting when I got up, but then took my MM and was ready to go!

Energy/Focus 8 good clean energy
Pump 7 decent pump on pullups but that is it
Recovery 9 no crash at all

On your good mornings, I forgot if I asked this before, but are you dropping your hips at all like a half-squat, or keeping them locked? I wasn't sure if you were doing a more bodybuilding style good morning.

when I do my lighter good mornings I keep my hips locked but as I go heavier my hips start to drop a little. So it is more of a partial squat and mostly a good morning. When I watch videos of the guys from westside doing them, they usually drop their hips a little. So I try to mimic this when I do heavier weights.

Hey there JW, Your lifts look great. I started to plateau as well. I scrapped the Dynamic bench stuff (not sure if you use this or not) and adopted a Rep routine, 315-325 for reps (failure) by about 6-7 sets, then assistance work with a strong emphasis on triceps (CGP, skull crushers, etc). Everyone responds differently, this is just my experience Bro.

thanks gaspers, I recently switched routines which is putting a lot more stress on direct tricep work. I am hoping that this helps me out, but I will keep this in mind. I think a rep routine would be effective.
