Default 04/08/10 - Day 3 of the come back

Pretty busy at work today, plus doms meant I kept the work out to cardio.

40 minutes in total

20 min speed intervals on the bike
20 min intervals on the elipitical runner

Given strong leg doms and a stubborn flu, I kicked ar$e. Endurance was strong felt like I could have kept going. Focus was awesome pretty T-Alpha is making it's presence felt.

I like where this is going.

Might rest up for the next 3 days so I can kill it next week.

Default 04/09/10 - Day 4 come back

Man I'm a glutton for punishment, was going to take today off due to doms and little tiredness.
Come lunch time I had nothing to do so though stuff it I'll slip in a light session.

Today's attempt felt the best yet so I'm happy that next week will see improvements as the flu dissipates.

Next week I'll follow a bit of 5/3/1 then I'll be back into my intense fullbody routines.

Today:

Seated military press (smith):
1 x 5 - 132
1 x 3 - 175
1 x 1 - 200 - FAIL

Didn't give it enough rest between 3 and 1, next time!

Lat Pull Downs
2 x 3 - 230
1 x 10 - 105 (slow 2/2)

Pull ups
2 x 10 - BW

Some ab work

Then I went off to the showers early, had a spa and sauna to ease the doms and that was that.

I'll take the weekend off and hit it hard next week.

As for T-Alpha it's slowly taking effect, my focus is up and my endurance is on the up and up. Also doing wonders for my returning strength.
