Default 03/05/10 - Full Body


There comes a day in everyone's training where you don't quite get it right, the desire is there but the body is not. And ladies and gentlemen today was my day.

A lack of vision yesterday saw me fire out some bear complex's not thinking that today I had clean and press, chins and dumbbell snatches. My shoulders were F**ked from the complexs yesterday, the doms were stronger than Luke Skywalker on force Viagra.

So I struggle through today with a little discomfort but I got there, as punishment I did 10 hail croms.

2nd cycle DAY 5

training focus = 7.5 (Shoulders kept this down)
energy = 8
appetite suppression = 8
crash = 0

Everything was strong again today 2nd cycle seems more effective than the first in terms of the above.

Format: starts 4x4, second week 5x4, third week 6x4, then increase weight and repeat

SUPER SET #1
1a. Barbell clean & presses 4 x 4 - 110lbs
1b. Wide grip pronated weighted pull-ups 4 x 5 - 40lbs

I broke the chain belt on chin ups and had to stick a dumbbell between my legs will up this to 50lbs next time.

SUPER SET #2
2a. Barbell Front squats 4 x 5 - 178lbs
2b. One arm snatches (each arm) 4 x 6 - 62lbs

Two arm swings 2 x 25 - 50lbs

0700 took Cuts
1030 2 x CLA, 2 Fish Oils
1115 took second Cuts and BCAAs
1200 workout
1415 took PWO, 2 BCAA's
1500 took 2 x CLA
