Default All American EFX, Making me a freak with Freak Maker.

AA EFX Freak Maker Build. A new post workout protein supplement with karbolyn and kre alkalyn.
This is actually the first product I have tried from AA EFX.

Let's get down to business.
Label info.

A little fiber and only 1 sugar?! Wow!!

Label claims:

Can't argue at all, claims are factual. Contains different protein sources, carbs to refuel, and creatine to increase atp. I applaud All American EFX for not putting far fetched claims that the product *may* do.

I got chocolate. Check this scoop, it's the biggest honkin' scoop I've ever seen.

You have to take two of these for one serving!

Per log agreements I will address each of these, although some do not apply.

1-Strength/Rep Increase
2-Sustained Workout Energy
3-Focus Enhancement
4-Pumps
5-Side Effects (or lack thereof)
6-Taste
7-Overall assessment

*Rate on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest positive score.



This log caught me at an awkward time as I have a meet 5/31. But I see Bamazav does too, and hey this is a powerlifting forum and all. My training will be back to normal after the meet.


First training pre freak maker build.

Last squat day in meet prep

Front squat
135x5 185x3 225x2 275x1*

Back squat
135x3 185x1 225x2 275x2 315x2 405x2 wraps on

Post workout I got about 10 oz of milk like usual and went to use this but then I saw use with 16 oz. Water. So I filled it up the rest of the way and added 2 scoops. I was very skeptical, and I thought no way is this going to mix. I was wrong, this stuff mixed up like silk! The taste was indeed choclatey with a malt flavor. Do people even drink chocolate malts anymore? It also had a syrupy flavor and consistency. I did like it, and I gulped it down easily. Looking at the nutrition I saw there wasn't much creatine by way of the kre alkalyn. I've never used it before so I don't know about the conversion factor to creatine monohydrate, so I went ahead and added 2.5 g. Creatine mono. My usual post workout involves a whey shake and a big bowl of kids cereal (lucky charms), to refuel glycogen, jumpstart recovery, and get a massive insulin spike. I did not get the usual big spike that I feel but I did get one. I did however, feel like this stuff gave me some wicked bloating. Will monitor. This product is very satiating, I was not hungry for a while. It is a pretty hefty 400 calories in powder alone. Looking forward to using this for the next 14 sessions.

AWESOME, I am in and following!

I agree with BAM that the bloat may be from the milk. I use the NF-Pro and Karbolyn and personally do not get any type of bloat. Keep us posted on that!

As for the creatine conversion, you should be good to go with 3g of Kre-Alkalyn vs. 5g of mono. Try not adding any mono and see how you feel, if you think you need it feel free to add it back in.

I didn't get the bloating like last time. Used 2 scoops with 16 oz. water. Mixes so easily, like silk. Recovery is real nice, minimal soreness.


Last training until meet.

Deadlifts and bench presses

Deadlift
135x1/1/1 225x1/1 315x1/1
Belt on
405x1/1/1 495x1/1
545x1/1 PR and pr match.


Bench press singles with slingshot then raw up to 265 but I failed the raw 265. I don't expect to bench press well at the meet. Don't care though.

the addition of the mono can only make it better

i personally love the ratio of carbs to protein esp when trying to pack on the muscle.
