Glad to hear shoulder was not super serious. Great work despite the soreness. Heal up and get back at it.

I second this, glad you are able to continue pressing on. Still proceed with caution!

Yup. I have a double update I'll do tomorrow. I have another serving left still.

This is the type of session I think freak maker is better for. Lots of volume, lots of muscle groups. Very refreshing.

Bench press

Tons of shoulder warmup.
McGill pullups 10

DB Press
25x20 30x20 40x8 50x8 60x8/8 40x8/8/14

DB row
40x8 60x8 80x8/8/8 95x8

Pec Dec
80x20/20

Tricep rope pushdowns
50x20 90x20
Drop set 70x24 60x11 50x10 40x16 30x40 20x80

A couple db curls and a farmers walk around the gym with 80's.

Start of new routine 10/20/Life
This is the type of session where you need the fast acting carbs and protein just to recover from. Final review coming soon.

Squat day.

Warmup with front squats.
135x3/3 185x5 225x3 275x1 315x1

Back squat
135x5/5 185x5 225x5 275x5 325x3
5x5 sets RPE 7
355x5/5 335x5/5/5

Paused squat RPE 6-7
315 x1 rpe 5
335x1 rpe 4

Single leg good morning
Barx8/8

Bulgarian split squats
8/8
Ran out of time.

Notes: 5x5 set went good, started out too heavy but adjusted and was good.
Paused squats were super easy, the second one was actually easier. I imagine I would have gotten to about 370 to hit an RPE 6-7, but my wife yelled at me for taking too long so I had to wrap it up.
The single leg good mornings were about impossible on my left leg. I had to do body weight on 2nd left leg set.
I had nothing left on the split squats, probably from the front squats I did.

6-Taste
Really delicious. I liked it more each time I used it. The chocolate was a silky smooth slightly malted flavor.
7-Overall assessment
This product is a really good product. The macros are on point for what it is.
The claims are solid. Tastes great. Good ingredients. I'm a fan of the karbolyn for sure. All those non sugar carbs are incredible! As for the Kre-Alkalyn it puzzles me why they would include it at such a low dose. If you want my creatine source to be from this product, put an adequate amount of it in the product. I like all the proteins in it, a nice blend with no amino spiking. I like the hefty amount of calories, a filling shake that I can take post workout and leisurely wait to get to a solid meal. Taking this post workout is very quick, tasty, refreshing, and really starts the recovery process. Some of my squat sessions leave me devastated on the floor for like a half hour. Taking this as fast as possible completely bypasses that and starts me feeling great alot quicker. My current post workout without freak maker is a protein shake with creatine mono., followed up with 3 servings of kid cereal. Compared to freak maker this has tons of sugar, takes alot longer, and is nowhere near as convenient. The last thing I want to touch on is the price. Freak maker has a hefty price tag of like 100$. If you break it down though it's kind of worth it. Protein these days is not cheap. You also have to buy milk, cereal, and creatine as well. Of course you have to buy creatine anyway since freak maker only gives you a 1.5 g. Dose.

So all in all
The good
Tasty quick great macros convenient

The bad
Expensive not enough creatine
*Rate on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest positive score.
8.5

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to maximize their gains.
