Default Trialing D-Pol and AminOD

Hey everyone,

I'll be running D-Pol and AminOD from Purus Labs for the next month or so, a very exciting opportunity provided by the company. I will comment about taste/quality/experiences throughout the process. I'll also add in my videos of my lifts as they come along.

I am interested to see how this allows me to recovery and perform as I am dieting this point to get down to about 185 (15 # jump) and will need all the help I can get in recovering and keeping my strength.

Ran my first day of it this past Friday, here are my initial thoughts.

D-Pol: Mixing is good, some settling but nothing out of the oridinary. I do like that they have packets in the tubs to control moisture. I got Custard Creme flavor, not my favorite but it isn't bad tasting at all. I can't comment on effectiveness yet, but felt focused throughout my workout.

AminOD: Mixing is good, very little settling with this product and again has a packet for moisture control in the tub. The Watermelon flavor is amazing, no problems sipping on this at any time during the day. Can't comment much on ability to help recovery just yet, but no issues with the product so far.

Had a good bench workout with these products in use, hit my max bench in the gym which I have never done before.

Right on, subbed. Make sure to take dpol once each day. If you get the chance, mix it with aminod and see how you like it.

Will definitely give it a shot before one of my training sessions this week!

Great session on Monday evening, lower body workout with squats, front squats, and deadlifts.

Felt fresh throughout the workout, no crash before or after and the AminOD was a great taste throughout the session. I do feel this is helping recovery as I am usually pretty beat up after these sessions but felt good the rest of the night and the next day, which is not usual.

Got in a nice 550 deadlift.

Sorry for being MIA, I have been taking the d-pol everyday and just feel great with it.

I tried the combination of the AminOD and D-pol on Friday evening, before my first GoRuck event. For those not familiar with this company, they do challenges across the US ranging in time frame. I completed the Challenge on Friday evening, 12 hours of hell which included a lot of PT and carrying heavy objects (can you say a 22 ft long 1500 lb tree) over the duration, all while carrying a 50 # ruck. In all we went 15 miles, it was a grueling but rewarding experience.

I felt good the whole time, I feel that using the combination kept me alert and ready as well as helped in my recovery during the event. I think this is a product I will keep using after this trial is up.

I can imagine, this was definitely one of the hardest things I had ever done. So much mental fortitude goes into that, it really pushes your limits.

Got back in the gym last night, but was still fatigued from this weekend. The good thing I am feeling pretty well recovered today, took the AminOD and D-pol together again and the taste is awesome.

Even with feeling fatigued still hit a nice 300 bench last night.

Thanks Randall, I got two more sessions in last week, a great lower session and then a back/upper workout.

Energy has been through the roof while on these products, no crash and no lethargic feeling after the workouts. This has been amazing, especially since I have cut calories in an attempt to get into the 181 class.
