As I thought, my back is hurting today pretty well. Surprisingly my ankle isn't hurting as much as it has been after deads.

Can't wait until tomorrow, I think I'm going to modify the current routine or try something different.. I think I've jumped into too heavy with volume compared to what I have been for a while. All of my body feels beat up and I feel fatigued before I even get to my last 2 sets to really even do it.

I want to push my squats as heavy as I have been, I'm happy with that.. my bench is ok even though I failed the last rep Monday, barbell rows are good, my overhead press is ok/stale, my deadlifts are my biggest problems right now, I'd like to incorporate high/low racks and speed type work instead of heavy heavy heavy every time.. it feels like my form is degragating and I feel like I'm going in reverse with my deadlift if that's possible.

Either that or I'm just simply not recovering enough in between lift days. I don't mind squatting 3 times a week but I think I'm going to have to do a heavy day and a light day type thing.. more to get the stabilizers and form down and keep my mobility but also not to burn me the hell out.

Friday 12/13/13

Squat - 280, 325, 380x3 - felt good, a lot better than x5s. I think I will be able to recover better, I seemed to have been feeling worse each day from pushing so hard. Weight will be going up on this easy.

Bench - 190, 225, 265x3 - Felt good.. it felt like it was going slower and it feels almost like my elbows are flaring but on video it doesn't look it. I'll keep pushing.

Rack pull tests - 315 for high and low, just testing.

Didn't do barbell rows, I felt good overall and should have done barbell rows but I'm readjusting the program to make it a little more conducive to my needs. About to see some big weights soon.

Just testing out the rack pull heights, I think I'd like to do those some instead of always pulling from the floor. Hell I didn't train conventional for 4 months and pulled my max DL pretty easy. I keep trying to pull from the floor now and it seems difficult and I can't get into the groove right.

I did a lot of the same things Cutty. Dropped to triples when I could no longer progress on 5x5. I also only pull from the floor every 3 weeks. The other two weeks are high rack pulls and low rack pulls. Hell I don't think BtB ever pulls from the floor except at meets

What do you guys think on the heights? One was just below knee and the other is pretty high up.. that'd be one I could hella overload on to get.
