I was thinking this: 75% body weight front squat for 15 reps or 75% body weight power cleans for 10 reps (hands must stay on the bar for all 10 reps). Might be kind of too easy but I was trying to think of something that even an old man like me could do.

I had hoped to give one of these a go today, but, I just didn't have it in me. My workouts have been for shit lately. I don't know - maybe I need a break.

This has been hanging out there since April. Someone should be able to easily knock this out, no?

I will post up results to your challenge soon Knarf.

Front Squat challenge 2: squat from the rack starting below parallel. Only the concentric part counts so you could start from spot arms and rack on j hooks at the top or squat it back down (or technically drop it, although I dont recommend it)
level 1 - single front squat bodyweight
level 2 - single front squat bodyweight * 1.25
level 3 - single front squat bodyweight * 1.5
level 4 - single front squat bodyweight * 1.75
level 5 - single front squat bodyweight * 2
level 6 - single front squat bodyweight * 2.25
level 7 - single front squat bodyweight * 2.5+ (gold medal)

You may not skip levels to reduce reps.

I beat your challenge knarf, 1x15x145 @ 190 lb... sort of bummed I messed up the filming but I'll post it next time. I might do it again and film it after I do my own challenge as a crazy step off set.

Without thinking about this, I did this the other day, did 140kg for 17 reps at 98kg BW - I'll let the front squat from pins challenge stand though - I reckon it looks quite hard, might give it a go at some point, but I'm not used to doing squats without the concentric portion.

What level do you need to 'hit' in order to post the next challenge?

Great job! Look forward to seeing the video. I was going to knock this out on Thursday but I'm glad somebody beat me to it!

Oh I was just thinking everyone gives it a try and posts how far they got. Wasn't expecting anyone to finish it all. So I'm getting that we usually post a challenge then one person finishes it to open the next challenge?

I think that's how it usually works, happy to try it your way and see what happens though!
