Default V-Grip Chins-ups

I did V-Grip Chins-ups this week. With the V-Grip my hands are parallel, so that eliminates any stress on my problematic left wrist.

By a “V-Grip” I am referring to a Double Grip Seated Row Cable Attachment: http://www.amazon.com/Double-Grip-Se...XMAYHEY4B33RD4

Here is a pic of the set up for the V-Grip Chins-ups: http://www.fitnessforoneandall.com/p...gym/v-grip.jpg

Here is a video of me doing this exercise (not from this week’s workout but from a while ago). Note how I alternate which side I pull up to: http://www.fitnessforoneandall.com/p...chins_6-26.wmv

I have to that too at my current gym. My favorite pulls up Neutral Grip as well but they the ones that are around shoulder width for most people, they had that at my last gym. That is probably safest and most effective lat exercise.

I really like parallel grip pullups but relatively few gyms have parallel bars, never thought of this! Will try and report back

I alternate two different pull/ chin up exercises in each routine, one Week A and the other Week B, and then change both with each new routine. But that is got me into trouble trying to do chin-ups with my problematic left wrist. So I'm not sure what I will do the next time I change routines.
