rocco-x is off to a bad start
Default trying to film my own self filmed documentary

well, since my relapse back in May and not hitting the gym in over a year now i've decided, after seeing the film "I Want to Look Like That Guy" on YouTube i came up with the idea of showing myself coming back from a major relapse to back in awesome shape in 90 days.

toying with ideas on how to start it off, edit it,showing my progress for 1st month then in weekly to monthly increments has given me some much needed motivation.having only a small camcorder and tablet to work with i need some ideas or help as far as editing goes.anyone with experience or that can point me in the right direction on where to learn how to do it would be much appreciated...

i want to prove to ppl,esp ones with major addiction problems that yes, there is hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel and anything can be achieved once the will to stop using becomes great enuff.i know i have enuff knowledge of my own body on how it works and what works for me to get me the biggest, strongest in the fastest way possible.looking forward to posting up some inspirational vids soon guys so just bear with me...rocco!

Welcome back and good luck with project.

If you plan to post a 1-2 minutes video...you tube is good enough.

However, if you want to do a long film...then you can probably use windows media editor or other editor software. But YouTube should be good enough for daily post.

Agree with 1MR! Youtubes is fine for daily workout highlights and short vids, but even 2-5 minute vids can take a long time to load! Plus from what I understand, you can do much more with moviemaker or other software, vs youtube !
Best of luck going forward!

Hi Rocco

You look awesome in your avatar.

If you don't want to get to grips with software and editing yourself, you could consider outsourcing. I'm working on a video project and I'm considering doing this. There are loads of skilled up guys working in Eastern Europe and Asia who do this sort of work for relatively little. I'm using O-desk for this and there is also Freelance.

Just a thought.

I'm not sure if you're on a MAC or a PC:

But on a mac you can use iMOVIE (which is fine for simple stuff, it's quick, easy and insta uploads to youtube)
And of course: Final Cut (amazing piece of software).

On a PC:

Sony Vegas is a good choice or Adobe Premiere.

Hope this helps and good luck! Can't wait to see your movie!
