I train full body so I am hitting all the main muscle groups directly and indirectly each week with compound movements so I am doing more then my 3 sets per a muscle group.

Mine would vary dependent on the exercise. Squats and Bench in one week would be 14+ working sets, Deads would be 6-8 (working), lat pull down or barbell row (Dependent on how I feel) would be 8-10, and the other 'accessory' bits would be around 8
