Lol, I came to this thread to post a squat vid for critique and saw this ^. Strangely, up until a couple days ago,I would have had absolutely NO idea what the heck you were talking about. But, now I do!

I need a depth check. I am trying to transition to low-bar squats. I went down until my hammies and glutes said "That's enough, fat boy, now head the other way". Maybe it will take some time to adjust. I wasn't able to put my thumbs on top of the bar like Rippetoe suggested. When I did, it caused serious instability. When I gripped the bar tight and pulled it into my back, all was well with the universe. My main reason for posting this is a depth check, but any critiquing of my form is welcome. Thanks!

Hard to tell because your clothes are baggy but it looked like you made depth on reps 4 and 5. Form looks pretty decent. Drive your head back into the bar as you reverse and come out of the hole, it will help you transfer more power to the bar as opposed to just using the power generated by your legs.

Form looks pretty good, but you should know that you might get called for hitching on that last lift. Try to drive that head back and stand as tall as possible through the lockout. That should help you eliminate the hitch.

Hey guys just need some help with squat form. Posted both high bar and low bar. Started using high bar because it felt good but after seeing my form it sucks. So I filmed both high and low bar, any critiques would be great. I'm comfortable with either one as long as my form is good.

High bar video is my second set. Had to film it by putting it on a 45 plate and awkwardly balancing it. This set was rough. 5th rep was a ball buster. I could not seem to get the form right today. My initial thought was that I shoot my hips far back because I'm used to low bar because I used that before. Any critique would help thank you guys in advance.

Low Bar Form
Did this at the end of the workout and had some guy quickly film this set just to compare to my high bar squats. Couldn't get the same view for high bar because my phone was about died right after this video.

Any advice is welcomed! I have no problem using either style just want to use one with good form. Thank you in advance!!
