The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

I don't think that using the wholesale club makes your bill go lower, it just helps your money buy you more. The meat is a better quality and usually much cheaper than compared to grocery store prices.

My wife and I have been planning all our meals out a head of time with the sale papers. It has help tremendously! We were spending well over a grand a month for food now we are in the 600 range.

it is definitely cheaper to eat processed crap.....I travel a lot which restricts my ability to buy and store food in bulk - I end up spending too much or I end up wasting a lot I try to stick with meats veggies, milk etc but I end up eating quite a lot of restaurant meals..
gotta work with what ya got

Thanks guys great tips in here!

I think planning meals with the sale paper in hand is a great idea. Also, since there are 2 of us I think we need to be more conscience of wasting foods and how much we cook.

And at mother I like that idea of thinking of this as an investment in myself.

Thanks for the help

I don't know if you can but, I look through the grocery stores online and order "click and collect". I find it easier to budget when I know what everything will tally to before I get to the cashier. Plus, it lists all the sales and specials. Also a great time saver for me.

When low on funds just buy 50lb bag of rice for 22$ and 5lb of cheese for 14$ and eat it until you can afford more.

We started looking at half a side of beef and a whole pig. Might be worthwhile to look into going in on this with someone.

I have talked about this with my parents, they are on the fence. Not sure I have another freezer space. But this is a very good possibility in the future
